sub lime or calamansi juice

sub all-purpose flour

Topping

flour, whole wheat
sub all-purpose flour

ground ginger

ground cinnamon

ground nutmeg

brown sugar
dark sub demerara

cup
rolled oats
1/2
cup
nuts (slivered almonds, walnuts, pecans etc)
chopped, optional

vegan margarine or butter
unsalted, softened

omit if using salted butter or margarine
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Filling
Mix fruit and lemon juice in a bowl.
Stir in flour and sugar until evenly coated.
Set aside.
Topping
In a separate mixing bowl, mix dry ingredients together.
Add in butter or margarine. Mix together until evenly combined.
Assembly
Bake in the oven for 1 hour. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Serve plain or with a scoop of ice cream.
